AS FAR AS THE AWARDING OF THE TWO GRADES OF THE STAR OF EUROPE...

The Star of Europe Class II can be awarded to every honest person possible,  regardless of its ethnic, religious, social, ideological or political attitude after an official proposal by a Senator of the EBT with regard to special services to the European economy by the Senate of EBT.

The Star of Europe Class I can after decorating with the Star of Europe Class II additionally be awarded to the same person for its exceptional further contributions to the European economy as far as trade policies, strategic action to improve economies, social partnerships and market access are concerned for the economies in particular for their EU Member States after a specific proposal by the Chairman of the Senate.

The awarding of a person directly with Class I of the Star of Europe (without former awarding with Class II of the Star of Europe) is the President`s responsibility, followed on the proposal of the Chairman of the Senate of the EBT.

The Star of Europe Class I will be awarded directly to well-known personalities from politics, economy, culture, private and public sectors.
